Live the life you’ve imagined…
I have had a few people ask me to write a review on the book I have been posting quite a lot about, as I have posted encouraging photos on how the book has changed me. First off, I want to let everyone know that the book may not be as inspiring to others as it is to some. Check the ending of this post for the other 3 book names of Kikki.K’s purpose series.
There are many sections to the book that encourage you to interactively write. It is a great way to plan. Unfortunately, there are too many for me to show below. I will go through a few to give you all an opportunity to have a see.
Basic run through:
As stated on the cover of the book ‘DO’ it quotes ‘live the life you’ve imagined,’ which is basically what this book has helped me to do. It is important to keep an open mind throughout the book, remind yourself of what you want out of this life. Throughout the book and it’s many steps, it gives you the opportunity to plan for different sections of your life and how you wish for it to be and what you can do NOW to get to where you wish. You must start today to get to where you want in your future, even if you are only planning.
This section really defines achievable goals, in simple terms ‘never set yourself up for failure.’ It defines the right goals to set through the acronym ‘Smart,’ standing for specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely. This ensures that you are setting the right goals, for the right reasons and they are achievable. Check below for the definition of each word from the acronym.
Most favourite part of the book
This section really allows you to open your mind and imagine what you wish for your future to be like. Of course we will never be able to tell exactly what our future holds, but if we wish to be somewhere specific in our lives at that time we must work hard towards it. It gives you a page for each year of your life where you are able visualise your dream life by answering:
- What date it will be in the future?
- What does it look like?
- How does it feel?
- How are you spending your days?
- What have you achieved?
- What are you working towards?
Each of these are to be answered on each page for your life in one, three, five and ten years from the day you are writing it. For example – I was doing mine on 21st of April 2017, so for my first one being 1 year from today I had written 21st of April 2018 and where I wanted to be in that year. And so forth, 21st of April 2020, 2022 and 2027. It isn’t it just scary to know that what your life will be like in 2027 is completely up to what you start doing from today.
One specific year….
The next section allows you to choose one of those 4 days in the future in which you will focus on in depth. I chose 5 years from the day being 21st of April, 2022. As said your life is made up of sections being relationships, to career, to health. It is important to be working towards meaningful goals in each area.
Preparing yourself for each section of your life at your future date
As said above it is important to prepare for each different area of your life. This section allows you to prepare for those six different areas in depth. The areas are– career, education, health, relationships, creativity and sense of purpose. In each different area it asks your questions specific to that area, check below for two examples. It allows you to answer those questions, picture your future and asks you ‘what goals do you need to set to get there? Allowing you to being preparing.
What is holding you back?
There may be specific goals you want to achieve in your life. You totally could have done them by now, but something is holding you back. It could be you are afraid; your health or even what others think about you (many more). There is no doubt a solution to every ‘excuse’. This section gives you to opportunity to open up about what is holding you back. Also, how you are able to overcome that, pushing you one step closer to achieving your goal.
Goodbye negative self-talk!
You are so worthy of achieving absolutely anything in your life, and never allow yourself to feel otherwise. Although there are times in our lives where we put ourselves down, eg- ‘I’m not good enough’, ‘I cannot do that’. Darling, you are totally good enough and hell yeah you can do it, you can do anything!! Those times in your life where you talk negative, you really forget all the great things about yourself. This section gives you the opportunity to make yourself feel a million bucks! Go for it, compliment yourself as you have so many incredible aspects of yourself.
It ends with the most perfect quote…
Here are a few shots of inspiring sections of the book, they are simply incredible.
THE MOST INSPIRING PAGE
That’s not all..
There are many more sections of this book. They are equally as incredible, although this post would be way to long! You’ll just have to buy the book too see yourself. It is absolutely incredible, and how much of a different it has made to my life. I would not be writing this post. I would not have Miss Wanderess and be hoping to change the lives of others if it wasn’t for this book.
If you have absolutely any questions about the book you can comment below. Even email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can send me a message on Instagram (click here) as I will reply a lot faster there!
